Hey 4B!

As most of you should already know, we will be having a class chalet after EOYs. Here are the details:

Where: NSRCC, near Tanah Merah.
When: 11-13 October (Sunday to Tuesday)
How much: $15 per person
Check-in Time: 2pm earliest
Check-out Time: 9-10am.
Person to contact: Jade, SamL, Leeying.

I really hope that many of you will be able to make it for this chalet. This should be the last time where we are able to have a class chalet while we are still 4B’09 and as Mr Tay mentioned in class, we haven’t really been getting a class outing with good attendance. It’s also after the exams! So we must play hard first before getting our EOY results back rightJ.

Don’t know how many of you still remember this, but Mr Tay once asked us to think about this question: 我们这一班会是怎样一班. After 2 years of being in this class, what can you take away? What does 4B’09 mean to you?

You can’t achieve something without putting in any effort. We can’t have a bonded class if we don’t put in the effort to try and bond. Let us be able to look back and think: Wow, 4B’09 was really an enjoyable part of our lives!:D hahhahaha.

Please confirm your attendance with me(Jade) by uh Tuesday, 08092009! Those who do not do so will be assumed to be going. Also, everyone please pass $15 to Zhiwei for chalet by T4W1!

Here's what's gna be happening tomorrow, if you still do not know!
Um, we're going to be dressing up as Zorro!

So, please remember to bring along your 2009 BLACK class tee, with a black long pants, prefably. However, we still have to report to school in school uniform + tie.

The mask and hat and sword will be provided, mainly by Yuherng so must remember to thank her. However, you will need to bring along 5-10 rubber bands per person to attach the mask to your head.

For food, we have:

In case you haven't known or didn't check your DHS mail, our classmate Zhongyu has proceeded to the finals for Centerstage 2009! :) Tickets to the final showdown are sold at $7 each at the Music Society booth in the canteen. Voting will take up 30% of the final results and only those at the show can vote (something to do with unique serial numbers lah), so let's show our support to Zhongyu and hereby wish her all the best! :D

Activities wise Yuherng will be bringing some board games, Lydia will be bringing mini mahjong if she can find. So we'll have 2 mini mahjong sets! Can someone help to bring cards?: DDD Uno and poker.

AND AND AND. Anyone can bring some extra food for BBQ night? (Day1) and we'll probably be buying sausage, corn, potato. anyone want anything else?:D

Okay, first thing:

Food!
Day 1 Dinner we'll be having a BBQ, food I've ordered are:

50 Chicken Satay -- Raw
10 Sambal Stingray -- Raw
50 Small otahs -- Cooked
30 Buffalo Wings (Chicken Wings, in other words. Specially for people like Minmin) -- Cooked

Qianyi will be cooking the main dish for us!: D THANKS QIANYI!
Okay, besides all these, I think we'll probably need to get more food, so uh if you can contribute anything then please tell me, or you can suggest what you want to get to me so we can get them before chalet!

Thats for Day1.

Day2:
Breakfast we can have:
1. Sandwiches again
2. Cereal
3. Instant noodles

Lunch will probably be out, at the foodcourt or any of the fast food places nearby.

Dinner there are a few choices:

Everything's pouring in already, the presentations are bugging you guys and there's still this PW thing to consider, despite the fact you've finished Trigo Assignment One (not that I have, actually).

But HEY, guess what!
You can find comfort in the people in this great class, and maybe in the cow at the back of the class too! :D dingdingding Or the pretty chiobu infront with the pink forehead and hair blowing the other way, LOL.

But seriously speaking, Im really glad i have you guys, because we make a great class when the 25 (XXL) are together (nice people, and we all work hard together!). I heard shes one of the model students in her class :D I miss her, man.

BOMB, COME BACK LAH) I REMEMBER that when Ximeng suddenly brought the OHP onto the table and left it there, we all were totally stunned, like -- HUH?? LOL., AND AND our part time job of washing cars during Chinese New Year, Mr Lee's cool audi and our cool getting down and wet from Carwash! People squirting water all over and giving out of flyers and taking Car Keys from the teachers :O Hahahhaa. Ziruo joining us in the year, and our making of this great video (By Ahherng) to welcome him! Im sure he felt cool cos he smiled a lot, hahahaa! Level camp's travelling together and rehearsing like We are Tribino, Here for Level Camp (Level Camp) Right here Malaysia, Here we go Woo! With Mr Tay, we go crazaye, 3B go low low low like a ___ (?!) AND HAHAHA YOU REMEMBER THIS? 3B GO HIGH HIGH HIGH LIKE A XIAO BAI CAI !?!?!?!?!??!?!

And not to forget the Class Chalet whr it felt really homely, Xinglin coming back fr the chalet and we surprised her with a cake and Mr Zhang's orange. Where she cried, and said we were her little angels. Where we all teased Mr Carrie HEHHEHEHEHEHE. Aw man haha, I miss those days :)

Well, here's 4B! Older, but still the same at heart. While we advance together as a class, here's hoping we spend this last year HAPPILY, not regretting that we didnt spend enough time together, etc, alright!

- Minmin: GREEN BEAN GROWING COMPETITION! YEAH HAHA. We can implement this, but as soon as one of us gets hold of soil. Because intially we can plant with cotton wool, but as time passes, we need soil in other for the green bean to flower.

- Yuherng: Class Plant! Any particular plants you wna plant? To flower by EOYs! I like seeing Qiqian water the flowerless plant on the table. HAHA.

- Samantha: Bringing back the class jigsaw puzzles! Yeah! Hahahah then we can annoy the teachers by continuing to work on the puzzle even tho we already realise they're in class already, LOL. Im kidding, but remember, thats what we did last year, LOL.

Okay the others i forgot who suggest alr:

- Class photoframes: Yup will be implemented! Im thinking of a way to print though, for now maybe I'll pin on the noticeboard, until we get a frame or something.

- Inspirational quotes: I was thinking of pasting quotes around the class so as to make the classroom a more motivated/conducive environment! Also, we have the quotes on Meng4 (Jiadong's Mong4) in CHINESE so people like Welfare girl can improve her Chinese! Yao4 Zhi1 Xian1. -.-

- Welfare girl's Kid's magazine world map! :D Will be put up once the CNY deco are brought down. By 15th day of CNY which is.. 9th Feb I think :)

Well as we all know (and that misused counter on our Class Whiteboard) that we've a few days left to EOYs! Even the Char Siew Bao is reminding us. Anyway, 3B what I want to say is right.
This Level camp, we'll go there as a class, and come back as a class enriched in the refreshing heritage of Malaysia.

So frankly,
don't be upset if we didn't get many Class League points or what
cos seriously, I don't want us to do things to get Class League points.

And the thing is, the Class League doesn't recognise the bond we can have as a class, and the fun memories, or just those crazy inside jokes we create in class everyday. The Class League mainly seems to award the talented (good designers), but the 24 of us ain't don't have to be a talented class to have together, yah? :)

(No doubt, there are imba people like Xinglin, Yuherng and SamL - haha that have crazy art/designing skills)

So if there is a choice of a bond we form during Level Camp, and there's a choice of many Class League points, I hope you don't pick the latter.

Yup, just making my point here that, seriously
don't think too much of the Class League. Its us that matters, anyway :)
